Browser delete for Internet Explorer for Windows

  1. To cover your internet tracks using Internet Explorer for Windows, click on Tools on the top tool bar and choose Internet Options. (it may also be in the View menu in older versions).
    Click the Tools menu, then select Internet Options
  2. In the Internet Options window, under the General tab, click the Clear History button.
    Click the "Clear History" button
  3. Click on the Advanced tab, scroll down to the Browsing section and UNCHECK Use inline AutoComplete.
    Uncheck "Use inline autocomplete"
  4. Under the General tab, click the Delete Files button.
    Under the general tab, click the 'Delete Files' button.
  5. In the confirmation dialog that pops up, check Delete all offline content and click OK.
    Check the box next to 'Delete all offline content'
  6. Under the General tab, click the Delete Cookies button.
    Click the Delete Cookies button
  7. In the Delete Cookies dialog that pops up, click OK.
    Click 'OK' in the Delete Cookies dialog box
  8. In the Internet Options window, under the Content tab, click the Auto Complete... button.
    Click the 'Auto Complete...' button
  9. In the AutoComplete Settings window, click Clear Forms.
    Click the 'Clear Forms' button
  10. In the confirmation window that pops up, click the OK button.
    Click 'Ok'
  11. In the AutoComplete Settings window, click the OK button.
  12. In the Internet Options window, click the OK button

You are now done.

Please note: These are only precautionary steps that do NOT guarantee your abuser will not see what web sites you have visited or what emails you sent. The best way to prevent your abuser from seeing your internet activity is to use another computer
