Browser delete for Internet Explorer for Macintosh

  1. To cover your internet tracks using Internet Explorer for Macintosh Choose Preferences... from the Explorer menu.

  2. In the Internet Explorer Preferences window, click the word Advanced in the Web Browser category. Then hit the Clear History and Empty Now buttons.

  3. Click the word Cookies in the Receiving Files category. Then select all the cookies in the list by hiting apple-A (hold down the Apple key and the A key at the same time) and hit the Delete button.

  4. Click the words Forms AutoComplete in the Forms AutoFill category. Then select all the items in the list by hitting apple-A (hold down the Apple key and the A key at the same time) and hit the Delete button.

    Then click the OK button to close the Internet Explorer Preferences window.
  5. Choose Download Manager from the Window menu.

  6. Select all the items in the list by hitting apple-A (hold down the Apple key and the A key at the same time) and hit apple-Backspace (hold down the Apple key and the Backspace key at the same time) on your keyboard to delete all the items.

    Then close the Download Manager window.
  7. Go to back to the Browser Delete page to delete other files which may be created by your browser.

Please note: These are only precautionary steps that do NOT guarantee your abuser will not see what web sites you have visited or what emails you sent. The best way to prevent your abuser from seeing your internet activity is to use another computer.
